Join artist Peter Liversidge in this workshop session to create your own placards to keep or contribute to our upcoming exhibition.
You will be led by artist Peter Liversidge through the process of sign painting. You will learn how to shape the letters, and come up with your own placard. All materials are provided.
No experience is necessary, Peter will guide you through the process, with the opportunity to chat about the project and your experiences.
The ideas, suggestions and thoughts expressed through the drawings created in the workshop will go into the new 茄子视频 Library and Museum exhibition on 'The Art of Nursing'.

About Peter
Born in 1973 in Lincoln, UK, Peter Liversidge is a conceptual artist known for his multidisciplinary approach, encompassing photography, collage, sculpture, and performance. His work often invites collaboration, allowing external influences to shape the final outcome. Liversidge's art explores the role of coincidence and is characterized by its openness to different mediums.
Liversidge’s recent solo exhibitions include “Proposals for Lancaster Arts” at Peter Scott Gallery, Lancaster, UK (2023); “Rural Time” at East Quay, Watchet, UK (2023); and “Either / Or” at Kate MacGarry, London (2023). His work has been featured in venues such as Tate Modern, London; The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield, USA; and Whitechapel Gallery, London.
