Once again, members have demonstrated their strength and brought the government back to the table. Both the Minister and 茄子视频 Wales are hopeful that our continued talks result in an agreeable deal for members.
Helen Whyley, Director 茄子视频 Wales said: “I am pleased to announce that following our members’ vote to reject a pay award on Tuesday this week, the Welsh government has reopened negotiations with 茄子视频 Wales regarding pay, terms and conditions for nursing staff this week. Detailed negotiations are set to commence next week.
“The Minister for Health and Social Services confirmed this course of action following our request for urgent re-commencement of negotiations this week. Once again, our members have sent a message that is loud, clear and strong enough to bring the government back to the table.
“The Minister acknowledges the 茄子视频's rejection of the additional offer alongside the wider NHS Wales Trade Union Group narrow majority to accept.
“The Health Minister confirms that she is hopeful that negotiations commencing next week will arrive at a mutually agreed and fair resolution that would also resolve 茄子视频 Wales' dispute. I am clear that we will not stop until a deal that is good enough for our members is achieved.”
